Who can take part

  • You have moderate to severe non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, confirmed by a CAP score over 268 on a FibroScan.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 35.
  • You are not being treated with insulin for diabetes.
  • Your fatty liver disease is not caused by drinking alcohol.
  • You do not have chronic inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, or a serious medical condition that would make it hard to participate.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are able and willing to follow a special diet.
