Arsenous acid for hard-to-treat triple-negative breast cancer

This trial tests a medicine called arsenous acid for people with triple-negative breast cancer that has not responded to at least two prior treatments. If you join, you will get arsenous acid plus one of four chemotherapy drugs to see if the combination can shrink tumors.

Who can take part

  • You have triple-negative breast cancer (hormone receptor and HER2 negative) that has spread to other parts of the body.
  • You have already tried at least 2 standard treatments for metastatic disease and they didn't work.
  • You are in fairly good overall health (able to take care of yourself) and have adequate blood counts and organ function.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a CT or MRI scan, or you have only bone metastases or stable brain metastases.
  • You are willing to use contraception if you could become pregnant.
