Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of lupus, Sjogren's syndrome, systemic sclerosis, or related autoimmune condition that is not responding to usual treatments.
- Your age must be between 3 and 70, depending on which condition you have.
- You must be willing to stop most other immune-suppressing medicines during the study, except low-dose steroids and hydroxychloroquine.
- You cannot have active infections, cancer, severe heart or lung problems, or uncontrolled diabetes.
- If you are able to become pregnant, you must agree to use effective birth control for at least 2 years after the treatment.
