CAR-T cell therapy for autoimmune diseases
Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Heart & circulation, Immune system & allergy, Skin clinical trials.
This trial tests a new CAR-T cell treatment for people with certain autoimmune diseases that have not responded to standard therapies. The treatment uses your own immune cells modified to target and attack disease-causing cells.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
- Your disease (lupus, scleroderma, Sjogren's, rheumatoid arthritis, or vasculitis) must be active and not well-controlled with standard treatments.
- You need adequate organ function, including blood cell counts, liver, kidney, and heart function.
- You must not have serious infections, other cancers, or certain heart or brain conditions.
- Women who can become pregnant and men with partners who can become pregnant must use effective birth control for at least 6 months after treatment.

This trial tests a new CAR-T cell therapy (a type of immune cell treatment) for people with certain autoimmune diseases, including lupus, scleroderma, and others. The goal is to see if the treatment can help control the disease.
This trial tests a new CAR-T cell therapy that targets two immune proteins (CD19 and BAFF) to treat autoimmune diseases like lupus or scleroderma. It is for people who have not improved with standard treatments.
This early-phase trial tests a new CAR-T cell therapy that targets CD19 or both CD19 and BCMA to treat several autoimmune diseases like lupus, scleroderma, and vasculitis. It aims to calm the overactive immune system with a single infusion of your own engineered cells.
This study tests a new type of immune cell therapy (CAR-T cells) designed to treat severe autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, dermatomyositis, and scleroderma that haven't responded well to standard treatments. The therapy works by modifying your own immune cells to target and eliminate the B cells that are causing your autoimmune disease.
This trial tests a personalized cell therapy (CAR-T cells that target CD19 and BCMA proteins) for people with lupus, Sjogren's, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, antisynthetase syndrome, immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy, rheumatoid arthritis, or ANCA-associated vasculitis that has not responded to standard treatments. The goal is to see if this therapy can reduce disease activity.
This trial tests a special immune cell therapy (CAR T cells) for people with severe lupus, Sjogren's syndrome, systemic sclerosis, and other autoimmune conditions that haven't improved with standard treatments. The therapy is designed to target and reset the immune system.
