Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a venous leg ulcer (a sore on your leg due to poor vein function) that has been present for at least 4 weeks but no more than 18 months.
- At least half of the wound is covered with dead or non-living tissue (slough or eschar).
- The wound size is between 2 and 40 square centimeters (about the size of a coin to a small hand).
- You do not have signs of infection, poor blood flow to the leg, or other serious medical conditions that could interfere with the study.
