Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a type of pancreatic cancer that is locally advanced or on the borderline of being removable, but has not spread to other parts of your body
- If your cancer is borderline removable, you must be unable to have surgery due to health reasons, or you have decided not to have surgery
- You have adequate blood counts, kidney function, and liver function based on blood tests
- You are able to care for yourself (ECOG performance score 0-2) and expected to live at least 3 more months
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must not be pregnant or breastfeeding and must use an effective birth control method
