Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have cardiogenic shock from any cause, classified as SCAI stage B, C, D, or E.
  • You have persistently low blood pressure (under 90 mmHg for at least 30 minutes) or need medications to support your blood pressure.
  • You show signs that your body isn't getting enough blood (like cold hands or feet, confusion, or low urine output).
  • You are not in cardiogenic shock after surgery, from infection, allergic reaction, or severe blood loss.
  • You are not in end-stage heart failure where you've been ruled out for mechanical heart support or a heart transplant.
