- Your child has been diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, including fever for 5 or more days plus other typical symptoms, or an incomplete form with lab or echocardiogram findings.
- Your child's fever has lasted 7 days or less when joining the trial.
- Your child is not already on IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin), steroids, or other immune-suppressing medications.
- Your child does not have a known allergy to anakinra, IVIG, or aspirin.
- Your child has no history of heart disease and does not have coronary artery aneurysms or shock from Kawasaki disease.
