  • Delivery attended by the neonatal resuscitation team
  • Routine stomach suctioning is needed after birth
  • Parent or guardian agreed to the Minnesota Research Authorization (or didn't say no)
  • No known birth defects, planned comfort care only, or other causes of breathing problems
