Clear aligners vs. braces: How do they affect your jaw muscles?

  • You are 16 years or older.
  • You are generally healthy without any long-term diseases.
  • Your bite (upper and lower jaw relationship) is classified as skeletal Class I, meaning they align well.
  • You need orthodontic treatment based on a standard dental need index (IOTN).
  • You have no major tooth decay and your gums are healthy.
