Who can take part
- Had a heart attack more than 3 months ago
- Heart failure symptoms have been stable for at least 1 month
- 18 years old or older
- Heart failure in NYHA class II, III, or IV (mild to severe symptoms)
- Heart's pumping strength (LVEF) is 40% or less
- Blood test shows a certain heart stress marker (NT-proBNP) is high (450 or more)
- No other serious heart, liver, kidney, or cancer conditions that would interfere
