Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 40.
- You are classified as ASA I, II, or III by your anesthesiologist (generally healthy to having severe systemic disease).
- You do not have any conditions that prevent receiving spinal anesthesia, such as bleeding problems, infection at the injection site, or severe low blood pressure.
- You are not pregnant.
