- You had an ischemic stroke (the most common type) within the last 12 months.
- You still have some mild problems with thinking, emotions, or alertness after the stroke, as shown by a test.
- You had a job when the stroke happened and still have a workplace to go back to.
- Your workplace has occupational health services available.
- You agree to let a neuropsychologist and a researcher talk with your occupational health team about work adjustments.
