Who can take part

  • Age under 80 years old
  • Severe blockages in at least 2 heart arteries (more than 80% narrow)
  • Weak heart pumping function (LVEF less than 40%)
  • Heart attack happened at least 3 months ago
  • Planning to have bypass surgery or stem cell treatment
  • Able to have an MRI (no metal implants, pacemaker, or claustrophobia)
