Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have leg pain or wounds (Rutherford category 2-5)
  • You have a severe blockage (more than 70%) or complete closure in your thigh or knee artery
  • You have at least one open artery below the knee to allow blood flow to the foot
  • Your life expectancy is more than 2 years
  • You have moderate to severe calcium buildup in the blocked area
