Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 90 years old.
  • You have severe tricuspid valve leaking that causes symptoms like shortness of breath or swelling (NYHA stage III or IV).
  • Standard medicines have not controlled your symptoms well enough.
  • A team of heart doctors has decided you are at high risk for open-heart surgery on the tricuspid valve.
  • Your tricuspid valve cannot be treated with the TriClip device available in Hong Kong.
  • You are able to understand and sign a consent form.
