Who can take part

  • Age 50 to 85
  • English is your first or main language
  • For healthy volunteers: no diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment or dementia
  • For those with mild cognitive impairment: diagnosis within the last 2 years and have a family member or friend who sees you at least once a week
  • No metal implants or conditions that could cause seizures, and no use of certain medications like strong allergy or sleep meds daily or weekly
  • No current substance abuse, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia
