Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You speak English fluently.
  • You have no known hearing problems or ear diseases (like Meniere's disease or chronic infections).
  • You are not currently being treated for tinnitus or other ear conditions.
  • You do not use a hearing aid.
  • If you are not a firefighter, you have no history of significant noise exposure and a normal hearing test.
