Who can take part

  • You are 12 years old or older.
  • You have a whipworm infection, with or without other worms like hookworm or roundworm, confirmed by stool tests.
  • You have not taken any deworming medicine (like albendazole, mebendazole, or ivermectin) in the last 28 days.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control.
  • You do not have serious liver, kidney, or other health problems, and you are not taking certain medications that could interfere with the study drug.
