  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You are scheduled for laparoscopic bariatric (weight loss) surgery.
  • You have an ASA risk rating of I, II, or III (this means you are generally healthy or have a mild to serious health condition that is well controlled).
  • You do not have any drug allergies.
  • You do not have chronic pain or take strong pain medicines (opioids) for a long time.
