Who can take part

  • Your BMI must be between 35 and 40.
  • You must have mild to moderate overall health issues (classified as ASA II or III), not severe ones.
  • You must be scheduled for a planned, first-time sleeve gastrectomy surgery.
  • You cannot have severe lung disease or severe sleep apnea.
  • You cannot have serious liver, heart, or kidney problems.
