Testing a new anesthesia drug in elective surgery

This study tests how well a computer model predicts the dose of a new anesthetic called cipepofol during planned surgeries that last at least an hour. The goal is to see if the model gives the right amount of drug for safe and effective anesthesia.

Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for a non-emergency surgery (not heart, chest, or brain) that will last at least 1 hour.
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 30.
  • You are generally healthy or have mild to moderate health issues (classified as ASA I–III).
  • Your vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and breathing rate) are within normal ranges.
  • You do not have any conditions that make anesthesia risky, such as uncontrolled heart, lung, liver, or kidney problems, sleep apnea, or a history of difficult intubation.
