  • You have type 2 diabetes or heart failure
  • You have atrial fibrillation confirmed by an ECG or Holter monitor
  • You are scheduled for your first catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation
  • You do not have a urinary tract infection
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant
