New tool to predict heart risk in ER patients with chest pain

  • You are 25 years or older.
  • You have chest pain or other symptoms that could be heart-related.
  • You do not already have a heart attack diagnosis in the ER.
  • Your heart's electrical activity (ECG) does not show signs of a current heart attack.
  • You have not had a heart attack or a heart procedure in the last 30 days.
