Surgery vs. radiotherapy for spine tumor pain

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a tumor that has spread to your spine from another cancer, and it causes pain in your back or neck.
  • Your spine pain is at least a 4 out of 10 on a pain scale.
  • You are planning to have surgery, radiotherapy, or both to treat the spine tumor.
  • You do not have more than one painful spot in your spine from the tumor.
