Spinal tumor treatment: ablation plus radiation vs radiation alone

Who can take part

  • You have cancer that has spread to the spine (between the T5 and L5 bones), affecting up to 2 levels.
  • You have spine pain or imaging signs that suggest a risk of spine complications.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have adequate blood counts and organ function (kidney, liver) as determined by blood tests.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and willing to use contraception if applicable.
  • You have not had prior radiation to the same spot, and your spine does not need surgical stabilization.
