Who can take part

  • You have advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread and needs radiation for some tumors.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your cancer got worse after at least two standard treatments, and it's been more than 2 weeks since your last treatment.
  • You are in fairly good health (able to care for yourself and up and about more than 50% of waking hours).
  • Your major organs and blood counts are working well (heart, liver, kidneys, and blood cells).
  • You do not have active infections like hepatitis, HIV, or tuberculosis.
  • You must not be pregnant or planning pregnancy, and must use effective birth control for 6 months after treatment.
