MRI to measure aortic stiffness in aortic coarctation

This trial uses a special MRI scan to check how stiff the main artery (aorta) is in people with a narrowing called coarctation. It aims to understand how the stiffness affects the heart and blood vessels, which could help guide future care.

Heart monitoring methods during infant aortic coarctation surgery

This study compares different ways to monitor how well a baby's heart is working during surgery to repair a narrowed aorta (a blood vessel from the heart). Doctors will use special monitoring tools to measure blood flow and oxygen levels to help understand which methods work best.

How aortic shape affects stent results for coarctation

This trial looks at how the shape of the aorta affects healing and remodeling after a stent is placed to treat a narrow spot (coarctation). It may help doctors better predict outcomes and choose the best treatment for you.

Watch study for newborns suspected of aortic arch blockage

This study uses heart ultrasound findings and related measurements to better understand blood flow in newborns with suspected blockage in the aortic arch. It may help doctors improve how they evaluate and manage coarctation of the aorta and similar heart narrowing.

Baby heart ultrasound study in newborn congenital heart defects

This study records newborn heart measurements (using medical imaging) to compare babies with certain congenital heart defects to healthy-term babies. The goal is to see how well one test matches another, which may help doctors better understand heart conditions in newborns.
