Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed by a neurologist with episodic migraine or tension-type headache (or both).
  • You have fewer than 15 headache days per month (over the last 3 months).
  • You have had an MRI or CT scan of your head to rule out other causes.
  • You are enrolled in the integrative headache program of Barmer or Techniker Krankenkasse (German health insurance).
  • You are at least 18 years old and not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not take headache medication more than 10 days per month (for triptans) or 15 days per month (for simple pain relievers).
