Who can take part

  • You are between 13 and 18 years old.
  • You have had braces on your upper and lower teeth for at least 4 months.
  • You have bad breath (halitosis) that can be measured with a special test.
  • You are in good general health with no active cavities, gum disease, or tooth enamel problems.
  • You do not smoke, and you have not taken antibiotics in the last 2 months or a special mouthwash called chlorhexidine in the last 3 weeks.
