Who can take part
- You are having laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery where you will be tilted head-down (Trendelenburg position), lasting less than 3 hours.
- You are between 18 and 80 years old, and your body mass index (BMI) is less than 28.
- You are in good general health or have only mild to moderate health issues (ASA class I, II, or III).
- You can open your mouth at least 2 centimeters, and you have no conditions that make it risky for stomach contents to enter your lungs.
- You are willing to participate and can understand and sign a consent form.
