Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You had a head injury within the last 24 hours.
  • Your doctor has ordered a CT scan of your head (but you haven't had it yet).
  • You are alert and able to follow commands (Glasgow Coma Scale score of 13–15).
  • You are not pregnant, in prison, or in police custody.
  • You do not have a history of multiple sclerosis, a recent stroke, or a skull fracture.
