Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You had a stroke caused by a large blockage in the front part of the brain (internal carotid, M1, or M2 artery)
  • You started treatment within 24 hours of stroke symptoms
  • Blood flow was successfully restored (score of eTICI 2b-2c-3) after standard clot removal or clot-busting medicine
  • You are mentally and physically able to come to a 3-month follow-up visit
