Who can take part
- You are scheduled to have coronary artery bypass graft surgery
- You can sign a consent form
- Your kidneys work well enough (eGFR above 30, and you are not on dialysis)
- Your heart pumps at least 40% of blood out with each beat (ejection fraction 40% or higher)
- You have never had atrial fibrillation before
- You are not pregnant
- You are not having any other heart valve surgery at the same time
