Who can take part

  • You are a veteran and receive care at the Iowa City VA Health Care System.
  • You speak English and currently drink alcohol.
  • You have never had serious withdrawal symptoms like seizures when you stopped drinking.
  • You do not have a strong alcohol addiction.
  • You can regularly get to a phone for counseling sessions.
