Testing NPT 2042 for absence seizures in genetic epilepsy

Who can take part

  • You are between 16 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with genetic generalized epilepsy that causes absence seizures (brief staring spells).
  • You have had at least 4 episodes of abnormal brain activity lasting 3 seconds or more on a 3-day EEG test.
  • You are taking a stable dose of at least one seizure medicine for at least 30 days.
  • You are in generally good health otherwise, with no severe intellectual disability, active liver disease, or recent drug/alcohol abuse.
