Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (cancer that has spread to other parts of the body).
  • You have had no more than one previous chemotherapy treatment for the metastatic breast cancer.
  • You are able to do your daily activities without much help (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • You have either had treatment with anthracycline or taxane chemotherapy before, or your doctor says you cannot take those drugs.
