  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease by a doctor.
  • You take levodopa (Sinemet or similar) at a dose of at least 300 mg per day.
  • You are between 40 and 90 years old.
  • Your kidney function is good (eGFR is 60 or higher).
  • Your blood pressure is well-controlled (no uncontrolled high blood pressure).
  • You do not use insulin for diabetes.
