Who can take part

  • You have a lung disease such as COPD, emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis, or asthma.
  • Or you have a heart condition like a recent heart attack, bypass surgery, angioplasty, stable angina, valve replacement, or chronic heart failure.
  • You need a referral from your doctor confirming it's safe for you to exercise.
  • You must not have any condition that makes exercise risky, such as serious irregular heartbeat, untreated heart disease, active heart inflammation, recent blood clot in the lung, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
