Stimulation and therapy for hand function after spinal cord injury

This trial is testing a safe method of electrical stimulation through the skin (called transcutaneous stimulation) combined with physical therapy to help people who recently had a cervical spinal cord injury improve hand and arm function. Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your spinal cord injury happened within the last 8 weeks and is at the neck level (C5 to C7).
  • You have limited movement in both hands or arms.
  • You are medically stable enough to take part in therapy activities.
  • You do not have metal implants (like a pacemaker or metal plate in your skull) or a history of seizures.
