Who can take part

  • You have an adrenal mass seen on a CT scan or have been diagnosed with primary aldosteronism (a condition where the adrenal gland makes too much of a hormone called aldosterone).
  • You are willing and able to follow the study procedures and sign a consent form.
  • If you can become pregnant, you must be surgically sterile, past menopause for over a year, or use reliable birth control.
  • If you are a man, you must use reliable birth control during the study and not donate sperm.
  • You do not have severe health problems like serious heart, kidney, liver, or brain disease, and you do not have claustrophobia.
  • You have not used experimental drugs or devices in the past month, and you do not have a history of drug or alcohol abuse.
