Who can take part
- You have been newly diagnosed with Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph+) ALL, confirmed by a blood or bone marrow test.
- You are 60 years or older, or younger but not able to get or have refused strong chemotherapy.
- You must have a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) within 14 days before joining to check for leukemia in the spinal fluid.
- You can take pills by mouth and have adequate kidney, liver, and heart function.
- You have not had any prior leukemia treatment except for up to 7 days of certain targeted therapy, steroids, or other supportive care.
- You do not have uncontrolled infections or certain nervous system conditions (like seizures, stroke, or dementia).
