Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have depression that hasn't improved after at least one antidepressant, and your current depression score is 15 or higher on a standard scale.
  • You are not very physically active right now, but you can start a structured exercise program.
  • You have not changed your depression medications or therapy in the last 4 weeks, and you're willing to keep them the same during the study.
  • You do not have bipolar disorder, current substance use, major medical problems, or conditions that prevent you from having TMS or an MRI.
