Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 2 and 10 years old.
  • Your child must be in good general health (ASA I or II).
  • The surgery must be planned (not an emergency) and NOT on the head, neck, or face.
  • Your child should not have any known problems with placing a breathing tube (difficult intubation).
  • Your child must have normal oxygen levels (above 95%) without needing extra oxygen.
