Who can take part

  • You are between 55 and 90 years old.
  • You have a diagnosis of probable Alzheimer's disease with brain scan results that support it.
  • You have had behavioral symptoms (like agitation, anxiety, delusions, or sleep problems) for at least 4 weeks.
  • You have been taking an antipsychotic medication for at least 4 weeks before the stem cell infusion.
  • You have a family member or friend (study partner) who can regularly answer questions about your behavior.
  • You do not have other types of dementia, severe depression, recent substance abuse, bleeding disorders, HIV, hepatitis, or uncontrolled medical conditions.
