Who can take part
- You have type 2 diabetes for at least 3 months.
- You’re age 21 to 75.
- Your diabetes pills are stable, and you’re only taking certain pills (metformin or related oral options), not insulin or newer injections/pills.
- Your recent A1c (average blood sugar) is over 7% and under 10%.
- You must not have major heart, stroke, severe nerve eye/nerve complications, or significant kidney/liver problems.
