- Your nodule scored TIRADS 3 or higher on ultrasound (moderate or high suspicion for cancer).
- You already had a fine-needle aspiration (FNAC) and are going to have surgery.
- You are generally healthy enough for surgery (no severe heart or lung problems).
- You haven't refused surgery or had an unclear FNAC result.
