Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with OCD and it is severe enough that standard treatments have not helped.
- You have tried at least two different types of SSRI medications (like Prozac or Zoloft) for at least 3-6 months each without enough improvement.
- You have tried clomipramine at the highest dose for 3-6 months without success.
- You have tried cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for at least six months without success.
- You are willing to undergo a surgical procedure to implant a device in your brain.
