Brain implant study for treatment-resistant OCD

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with OCD and it is severe enough that standard treatments have not helped.
  • You have tried at least two different types of SSRI medications (like Prozac or Zoloft) for at least 3-6 months each without enough improvement.
  • You have tried clomipramine at the highest dose for 3-6 months without success.
  • You have tried cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for at least six months without success.
  • You are willing to undergo a surgical procedure to implant a device in your brain.
