Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have OCD symptoms for at least 5 years
  • Your OCD is rated severe or extremely severe
  • You tried multiple OCD treatments, including at least 3 SSRI antidepressants and clomipramine, without enough improvement
  • You have tried exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy
  • You can meet the safety and brain-surgery rules for deep brain stimulation, including no bleeding disorder or blood thinners
