Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
- You are scheduled for robot-assisted surgery to remove the cancer (curative intent).
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or lower.
- You are able to answer a short questionnaire about how you feel after surgery (QoR15).
- You will not need a stoma (a bag for waste) during or after surgery.
- Your cancer has not spread to other parts of the body (non-metastatic).
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation before surgery (no neoadjuvant treatment).
- You have had fewer than 3 previous abdominal surgeries.
